charge history (USS Missouri)
Launched in 1944, hosted the official signing of the surrender of Japan at the end of the Second World War is the battleship Missouri.
After the Korean War was placed in reserve for about 30 years after refitting and return to the line in 1986, participated in the First Gulf War. Currently, it is a floating museum in Pearl Harbor.
In the pictures you can see the towers with the main gauges from 406mm and countless pieces of a size smaller, that dot the ship for its entire length:
As usual during the Second War, the Missouri embarked two seaplanes for reconnaissance, which were scrambled by means of hydraulic catapult and recovered by crane:

Wonderful details of the many parts to be assembled with little to do fillings.
The black stripe on the hull is accomplished with a spray masking of gummed paper, I did not apply washes to keep it that "collector".
